In 2009 we improved and upgraded our boarding facilities. Our goal is for our guests to be as comfortable as possible and hope this facility can be considered their home away from home. We have individuals on our team who take great pride in caring for our guests. They learn the personality and needs of each guest. Whether it is a little extra play time with a puppy, TLC for the geriatric dog that may be a bit arthritic, or the cat that misses his/her people and needs a little extra attention. Our team members take their responsibilities of care very seriously and have developed long term relationships with both our guests and their owners. When boarding your pet we want to have the cleanest and safest environment possible. To ensure that your beloved pet neither contributes nor acquires disease or parasites while in our care, we require that the following health maintenance items listed below be current. If vaccinations and a fecal examination are not “current,” these services will be performed at the time of boarding and fees will be assessed accordingly.
|Distemper/Parvovirus, Kennel Cough, Free of fleas & ticks||Feline Distemper, Free of fleas & ticks||Distemper/Parvovirus, Kennel Cough, Fecal test < 12 mo., Rabies, Free of fleas & ticks||Feline Distemper, Fecal test < 12 mo., Rabies, Free of fleas & ticks|
All boarding guests will be examined for external parasites (fleas and ticks), treated if necessary, and fees will be assessed accordingly. All guests must have a fecal examination (parasite poop test) with negative results within the previous 12 months. It is extremely important to notify the staff if your pet has a contagious condition. We can house them in a more isolated space to attend to their needs and help prevent the spread of disease. Proof of vaccination and fecal status can be provided by your previous veterinary records, FAX from your regular veterinarian, or we can call your veterinarian. Confirmation of records is required at check-in. Puppies should be in the process of receiving their initial series of vaccinations. Puppies must at least receive their first Distemper/Parvovirus and Kennel Cough vaccines. Kittens should be in the process of receiving their initial series of vaccinations. Kittens must at least receive their first Feline Distemper vaccine. Adult dogs must have had Distemper/Parvovirus and Kennel Cough vaccinations and a fecal flotation within the previous 12 months prior to the end of the boarding period. Rabies must be current according to state law. Adult cats must have been vaccinated for Feline Distemper and have had a fecal flotation within the previous 12 months and be current on Rabies according to state law. Checkout times are just like at a hotel. Fees are charged from the day guests arrive until 1:00 P.M. on the day of departure. After this time, another day of boarding will be charged. Our team members feed, water, clean, and exercise your pet until departure. We do not discharge after hours or on Sundays. Payment for rabies quarantine is required in full at time of check-in. Please as us about our nail trim, ear cleaning and bathing services.
